Eva Longoria Files For Divorce From Tony Parker

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Eva Longoria has filed for divorce from Tony Parker, citing irreconcilable differences.

Longoria filed for divorce Wednesday morning in Los Angeles Superior Court. She and Parker, the All-Star point guard for the San Antonio Spurs, were married July 7, 2007. They have no children together.

In the filing, Longoria, who had taken Parker’s name, is requesting that her name be restored to Eva Jacqueline Longoria. The filing also states that the couple had a prenuptial agreement.

Just a day prior, Longoria’s representative told TMZ.com Parker had not filed for divorce and didn’t even have a divorce lawyer.

Who cares and why is this newsworthy and how does this affect my life?

Sorry to hear about their pending divorce but this isn’t really news worthy. Let them divorce in private and start reporting important news.

Whos Eva Longoria? Who is Tony Parker?
You guys sure get some lame “news:”

It is noteworthy since they are both “public” figures; however, if you are not interested, don’t read the information. It would be nice if the press gives them enough privacy to deal with this likely difficult time.
