Bank In Foothill Farms Robbed At Gunpoint
SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) -- Three suspects are in custody and police are searching for a fourth after a Wells Fargo bank was robbed at gunpoint in the Foothill Farms area just after 11:00 a.m., according to Sacramento Police.
Three men entered the bank at 5051 Auburn Blvd. Tuesday morning, demanded money from the tellers at gun point and left with an unknown amount of money, said Sheriffs representative Sgt. Tim Curran.
Police chased the suspect vehicle for a short while before it crashed into a tree on Truxel Road. The suspects ran but police were able to capture three of them shortly before noon.
Sacramento Police, West Sacramento Police and Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies were out in force searching for a fourth. Canine officers and a helicopter were assisting in the search.
