FOLSOM (cbs13) – The Folsom High Bulldogs are heading to the state bowl game.

The varsity team will be taking on Southern California’s Serra Cavaliers of Gardena on Saturday.

The CIF State division II bowl game is a first for the high school.

The bowl game will take place at the Home Depot Center in Carson in Southern California.

Kick-off is set for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The bulldogs aren’t the only area team headed to state.

Also on Saturday, the Escalon High School Cougars will play for the division III title against Madison High School out of San Diego.
