Roseville Businesses Go Dark After Transformer Fire

ROSEVILLE (CBS13) — Some Roseville businesses were in the dark Thursday after an electrical transformer caught fire.

The electric company transformer, located on Vernon Street in the old downtown section of Roseville, caught fire just before 3 p.m., cutting power to 48 commercial customers, including the Civic Center and City Hall.

By 3:45 p.m., electricity had been restored, says Roseville Power.
