Police Identify Suspect In Rapper's Shooting

ANTIOCH, Calif. (AP) -- Antioch police are looking for an 18-year-old man suspected in the death of a local rap artist who was shot in the head, then pushed out of a car last week.

Twenty-four-year-old Arnold Muckleroy was hospitalized in grave condition after officers found him in the street on Dec. 20. He died of his injuries the next day.

The Contra Costa Times reports that police identified the suspect Monday as Michael Pulliambanks, who also goes by the Michael Banks. He's considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators have not determined a motive for the killing. They say Muckleroy had just gotten into a green Ford Escort to meet with people when the shooting happened.
