Sometimes, you need to know all of the facts before you judge. The Bee’s reporters are not always accurate. I know because of a story that they ran on one of my family members that proved to be completely wrong. Did the Bee print a retraction or the truth? No. This tragedy here is a societal problem. We cut out so many youth programs, yet we expect the youth to grow up and be productive members of the same society that dismissed them because they didn’t have enough money to take “racecar driving lessons” or the like. This young man was a former student of my colleague’s. As with his family, her heart is sad. It is a pathetic day when people are cheering that a life has been lost. I feel sorry for you when tragedy touches your family.

The reason this kid was shot is because his PARTNER was struggling with someone at the scene. The question is: Was the partner trying to shoot one of the victims and he accidentally shot his friend? BOO HOO! I bet he will blame his victim because he “struggled” with him and he was “forced” to shoot the gun. Please! The gun was loaded, they were criminals. I am SICK and TIRED of everyone being blamed, but the person doing the crime. HELLO! I wasn’t in a “youth program” and I did not turn to a life of a crime. (I was taught right from wrong and raised with a good work ethic–if I didn’t earn it, I didn’t take it.)
It is sad someone lost their life, but at the same time, I would much prefer it be one of the CRIMINALS than a victim or police officer.

TK was a good kid who made a bad choice that cost him his life. He is missed by all of his friends and family.

tiekerian was a hiqh school friend of mine and he was a qood kid , it doesn`t matter what he did , he didnt deserve to die . To everyone talking bad about Tiekarian, you don’t even know him, he didn’t have many role models, he basically raised himself, he was a great kid who was forced to make bad decisions, nobody chooses the people they grow up with. He went to church all the time, loved to go fishing and play football. He has a son who was just a couple months when he passed. All of you ignorant people have never seen a story like this from the other side, so I suggest you keep those comments to yourself, before you catch yourself or someone close to you in a situation like this.
