New Railyards Owners Ready To Move Ahead With Project
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - The new owners of Sacramento's downtown Railyards say they are ready to aggressively begin developing the property.
The owners of Inland America gave their first public presentation at city hall Tuesday saying they will spend the next year building roads and other infrastructure.
The project risks losing $75 million in federal and state taxpayer money if construction work doesn't begin soon.
The company took over the Railyards in October after the previous developer, Thomas Enterprises, defaulted on its loan.
