Purse Snatcher Strikes Again In Placer County
PLACER COUNTY (CBS13) - Deputies are on the hunt for a serial purse snatcher who has hit at least six times in Placer County.
Deputies say the man is targeting woman shopping alone at grocery stores.
He grabs their purses from shopping carts when the victims are getting something from the shelf.
"He's brazen. He's done several of these in Placer County, Roseville and Rocklin," said Placer County Sheriff's Sgt. Brian Whigam.
Investigators hope someone recognizes the suspect from the clear Surveillance picture as he walked out of one store.
