STOCKTON (CBS13) – A Stockton police officer is facing drug charges after being arrested during an undercover sting.

Officers arrested 26-year-old Darrin Fagundes yesterday in a shopping plaza parking lot in Tracy.

Investigators say he was arrested during the sting for having steroids for sale.

The Stockton Police Department says Fagundes is on paid administrative leave pending further investigation.

The real crime is he did something he knew was illegal. How can he be trusted by his fellow officers? What if he’s on patrol and he gets a call to pop his dealer?

Yes, I totally agree with you.. However steroids are illegal (although I wish they were legal cause I would be on them) and he is suppose to be enforcing the laws not breaking them. Using them is one thing, but selling them is another.There are other ways to stay in shape and not get fat, eating right and exercising daily. I am suprised he did not get popped sooner for use as he has the typical suqare jaw, fat cheeks and double chin to go along with roid use..
