Crime in America lives on , glad it was in Modesto. Gun don’t kill its the bullets that due the damage , now lets see people kill not guns , . Can we swallow bullets and spit them out and kill ? Can guns kill without a person handling it ? We have laws about people that have guns in some states . Now we need laws that say guns need a permit to be in the hands of people. Glad it was in Modesto.

Damm, another crime in my city. I wish these punks would leave our city, we all have enough problems here, so LEAVE wannabe gangsters and don’t come back. You people have cost this city so much money, like right now, our city fire department is send out our Truck company to this shooting scene to take pictures from high above and if Truck 1 is needed to a major fire, well someone or something will be lost. How long have you lived here in Modesto? I have been here in this great city 51 years, retired here and still living here, so where do you come up with never a nice town…

i live and work in modesto.i fear for my kids lives here.this place has become like the ok corral. its such ashame! very sad for all the hard working law abiding citizens in this town.

I agree that Modesto is no longer the place it used to be and that a lot needs to be done to clean the place up, but to the people who come in here with nothing to do but talk smack, you all need to get a life. Termite, you are ridiculous. First thing, learn some proper English. You sound just like the people who would do this sort of thing. Are you complaining about gun control laws and putting the blame on ammunition? Sure beats the point of having a gun when you can’t shoot anything out of it don’t you think? Just FYI, the people who go around robbing and killing people with guns probably stole them in the first place so no firearms permit is going to stop them. I personally knew the victims and this is indeed a sad day.

I live in Stockton pretty much halve of my life. I came here in 1990, and the city was peaceful, and less crime than there was today.It was more racist then,which was majority coming from white people, because of more minority moving in, which = change, but overall, it was nice city. Am I happy that Stockton is now diverse? Of coarse! Am I happy for what it has become now? NO! So I can see where certain people are coming from when they say “It wasn’t always like this in (Modesto)”, because 9-10 it probably wasn’t.

Ok being racist is really going to solve what happened to these people and to others who lost loved ones to stupid s@#$ like this. The racist comments and inability to write properly or make insightful comments are some of the reasons why Modesto can only go so far nowadays – let’s not blame it on the minorities. Plus, keep in mind that some of the most notorious crimes from Modesto were from the affluent white community.  If you’re serious about improving Modesto, please start by getting an education. In the meantime, no one deserves to have their lives taken from them. My thoughts and prayers are with the family’s loved ones.

i am wilson vorasane i so daid that have loss my good friends and his family also , he is one of our community member of LOA MAI ASSOCIATION OF NONE PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS FOR HELPPING OUR MEMBER OF OVER 100 FAMILY THAT HAVE BEEN JOINING TOGETHER . IN OVER 20 YEAR AGO IN MODESTO, I HAVE KNOWN VANH &phouvieng 26 year ago they are very good friend an so nice to every one, i have no idea why they have to endup life this way. i am miss them alot ,I always stop by after work ,an we have been talked about retirement & go visit laos an comback & go travel in usa , but now he is gone I am so painfull for my good friend ,his is known as best friend . god bless all of them
