ROSEVILLE (CBS13) –  The Roseville Police Department is currently investigating the death of an 16-month-old girl.

Authorities responded to a residence located at 2600 Hearthside Way in Roseville, to a report of a child who was not breathing.

The child was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, according to the Roseville Police Department.

Authorities say there was no obvious signs of trauma to the child.

Police say they have been to the same home on two previous occasions in December 2010 due to domestic disputes. No arrests or reports were made.

The Roseville Police Department is currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of how the toddler died.

An autopsy will be performed by the Placer County Coroner’s Office.

No arrests, fine….but not even a previous REPORT of why you went to the house for a domestic dispute…TWICE?

    Big mistake!

People call the police over even normal fights that would blow over in any other time or place. Then if a child dies and its natural death there is this big hoopla in the news. We used to be able to handle our private figthts on our own without interference by police let alone the ccity, county and state. If poeple would learn to handle things instead of running to the ‘big brother’ there would be fewer domestic issues, less police paperwork and less in the jail for 24 hours.

Perhaps there were no arrests because the victim was afraid to have the person arrested. Or like so many victims they are fooled into thinking they can’t do without their abuser if that person goes to jail. But the child should have been the first consideration above their own feelings. Now the child is dead. Something gone terribly wrong.
