OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Sacramento Kings guard Tyreke Evans missed the team’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night with plantar fasciitis.
The team made the announcement just before tip-off, but Evans is only expected to miss one game.
Evans is averaging a team-high 18.3 points per game and 5.5 assists. He has scored 20 or more points in five of his last six games.
He missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer Saturday in the Kings’ 99-97 loss to Oklahoma City.
