Police Say Bank Robber Used Money For Sex Toys

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento Police have arrested a suspected bank robber who may have already spent a large amount of the stolen cash on sex toys, electronics and a photo shoot.

Police arrested 25-year-old Steven Wilson on Tuesday they connected him to a bank robbery on February 12 at a bank on Del Paso Boulevard.

Detectives cross-referenced surveillance video footage of the bank robber with a list of recently released parolees, and found a match with Wilson.

Detectives tracked down Wilson at a motel on Orange Grove Avenue and arrested him. There, they found thousands of dollars worth of merchandise believed to have been bought with money stolen from the bank, including sex toys and electronics.

Detectives are talking with Wilson's friends in order to locate the remaining stolen money.
