Years ago I crashed into a small herd of goats north/west of Woodland and I was a wreck for days after. The damage to my truck was minimal but I felt sick every time I remembered it. It’s up to the herds owner to pay for damages.

my boyfriend led the convoy of over 10 tow truck divers having to clean up this mess saw his chp buddy shoot one of the goats. A total of 51 died that he counted or was told. He was there for 4+hrs. The other member of his crew towed one of the cars that hit 10 of them he said it made him throw up how much blood and stuff was on the really messed up car.

They should have put pictures of the dead goats! That would be cool!

I was stuck in that mess for about 2 hours last night and I have to say that once the road opened and I saw all that carnage, it was pretty morbid. When I got home I looked online and read that there was only one person with minor injuries. It was unfortunate that all those goats were killed but at least no human lives were lost. When the highway comes to a dead stop, both directions, and you sit there for 2 hours not sure what happened; it’s a good thing to find out that only goats died, not people.

and what was the reason the drivers could not see the goats before hitting them -driving to fast and not watching what was going on !
