Two Arrested For Copper Wire Theft At SMUD Building
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Two people are in police custody for allegedly stealing copper in east Sacramento.
It's happening at the SMUD building on Folsom Boulevard and 59th Street.
Police had detained two people in the back of a patrol car after they were caught stealing wire.
It's unclear if they were attempting to take stores of wire or if they were actually taking it from the SMUD building itself.
