Honda Center Getting Lots Of Calls About Kings

ANAHEIM (CBS13) -- If the Kings decide to move to Orange County, they probably won't have problems selling ticket...at least not right away.

According to a press released sent out by Honda Center management, the arena has received so many inquiries about whether the Kings are moving, and how people can get tickets if they do, that management created an e-mail address to handle related requests. The e-mail address? Waitlist@hondacenter.com.

Merit Tully, Director, Media and Communications at Honda Center said the e-mail address does not mean the Kings are moving.

"The creation of this list is not an indicator of further developments, but simply allows interested parties the chance to be further informed," he said.

Last week the city of Anaheim acknowledged its pursuit of the Sacramento Kings and revealed a financial plan to entice the NBA team to relocate to Honda Center with $75 million in bonds.
