Students Protest Budget Cuts At All 23 CSU Campuses

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) –  It’s unclear if voters or lawmakers will approve Gov. Jerry Brown’s proposed budget cuts, but if so, they will take effect within the next two months.

Demonstrations against possible budget cuts are taking place at all 23 California State University campuses Wednesday including CSU Sacramento.

The Cal State system could lose at least $500 million in state funding if temporary tax increases proposed by Gov. Brown are approved.
