Two Burglary Suspects Arrested In South Sacramento Manhunt

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sacramento police have arrested two burglary suspects after a manhunt this morning in South Sacramento.

It all began around 8:30 am when officers got a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area.  It turns out the car was stolen and the driver led them on a short pursuit.  The suspects hopped out of the vehicle in the area of Ehrhardt and La Castana Way.  That's where officers set up a perimeter and scoured the neighborhood using K9 officers to try and sniff out the suspects.

Just after 10:30, police captured the two juvenile suspects inside a relative's home on Ehrhardt.

CBS13 cameras caught upset family members screaming at and trying to push past police officers as the suspects were escorted out of the home.

One was apparently bitten by a police dog.

Police say the suspects were not armed, but they did find weapons inside the home.
