Stockton Sex Shop Robbed 3 Times In 10 Days
STOCKTON (CBS13) -- A sex shop robbery was caught on camera, and this isn't the first time this particular store has been targeted.
Thieves in Stockton have targeted this sex shop three different times, and this last time the clerk feared for her life. Twice at knife point and once at gunpoint, CBS13 spoke to the clerk who survived the broad daylight attack.
"He gets me on my knees and the other guy is telling me he's going to shoot me," says Leonor Maglaya.
Secrets clerk, Leonor Maglaya, showed CBS13 the surveillance video of a pair of armed robbers storming the store.
"They kicked the door in, pushed me down to the floor, grabbed me by my hair and called me all kinds of curse words telling me to give him the money," said Leonor.
It wasn't long before one of them pointed the gun at Leonor's head.
"One is holding me on the floor telling me 'I'm gonna kill you, I'm gonna shoot you, I'm gonna shoot you'," explained Leonor.
Faced with danger, the mother of three thought her life was over.
"What did I tell my kids, what memories are they going to have of me?" Leonor said.
The adult store has been hit by different thieves three times in a week and a half, but each time the robbers only get away with a small amount of cash.
"All they made off with was a roll of quarters," says Leonor.
But, they leave a trail of fear behind them.
"Every time you look at the door, it doesn't matter what they look like, your heart jumps; it starts to race cause you don't know who its going to be," she explains.
Clerks feel robbers are targeting Secrets because it's one of the only few spots open late at night.
Police have not made any arrests.
