Audio: The Grant Napear Show – May 13, 2011

The San Jose Sharks’ Game 7 victory opened the show, with Grant taking calls from new-found hockey fans delighted with the drama of last night’s contest.

Grant then solicited listeners’ opinions about Tiger Woods withdrawal from The Players Championship to finish off the first hour.

Hour two opened debate regarding Geoff Petrie’s job performance, with Grant (once again) patiently explaining that Petrie has done well given the circumstances.

Eddie Olczyk of the Versus Network dropped in to talk about the excitement of the NHL playoffs and recap last night’s Game 7 in San Jose. Olczyk also offered his thoughts on Jeremy Roenick’s comments regarding the effort of Patrick Marleau.

Grant spent the final hour discussing the recent twists and turns of Gus Johnson’s career and sprinkling in some Bacon Bits to top things off before replaying yesterday’s interview with Aaron Rodgers.
