Audio: The Grant Napear Show – May 26, 2011

Jason Ross and Drew Hoffar fill in for Grant again today and start off by unveiling the new arena proposal and feasibility report done by the ICON-Taylor group which was presented to the city council and the public today. Jason and Drew also discuss the viscous hit and season ending injury to SF Giants hitter Buster Posey in last night’s game against the Marlins.

Next, David Taylor from the ICON-Taylor group, joins the show to further explain the feasibility report in detail and answer questions about funding, parking and the impact to the area of Natomas if a downtown arena is built.

In the second hour, we replay one of Grants classic rants about KJ and the Maloofs needing to put their egos aside and work together to keep the Kings in Sacramento. After the rant, former King Travis Mays comes on to talk about his life since leaving the Kings his rookie year and talks about his coaching career.

In the final hour Mychael Urban, MLB insider for Comcast Sportsnet Bay Area, joins the show to talk about the possible season ending injury to Buster Posey in last nights game and what this means for the rest of the Giants season without Posey in the lineup.
