SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The largest handmade California flag is on display today at the State Capitol.

The flag is woven with more than ten thousand California residents’ heartfelt messages of encouragement and hope in the midst of our current economic crisis and hardships.

It’s a gift to the state by the Korean group, the Mannam Volunteer Association.

The massive flag will be on display until 4 this afternoon.

WOW. Way to go Mannam! This flag is so neat! It must have taken so much time and effort to complete….holy smokes 10,000 signatures! I’m so encouraged by this group’s dedication in raising the morale of the state. I really think that California residents will be reminded of the importance of unity & working for the good of the people every time they look at this flag. Thank you so much for doing this Mannam, really. God bless you guys!

My students had a chance to sign on this flag when Mannam visited my school. They were excited to spread messeges of hope and love in California. Thank you Mannam for this great opportunity for us!
