SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A firefighter is recovering this morning after nearly collapsing while fighting a two-alarm blaze inside an auto shop in Sacramento.
Firefighters saw flames shooting out of the roof and front door at 14th Avenue and 73rd Street and started the attack.
When one firefighter started to collapse, he was sent to the hospital to be checked out and is recovering.
The auto shop suffered minor damage.
The neighboring kitchen supply store was not damaged.
