Audio: The Grant Napear Show - July 12, 2011

Grant kicked off the first of four days at Edgewood in Lake Tahoe with an All-Star interview with Toronto Blue Jays legend Joe Carter, who sat down with Grant to reflect on his career.

After opening up a segment to callers, Steve Wyche of the NFL Network joined Grant live to look ahead to an NFL season whose existence is still in question. Steve talked Raiders, 49ers, and all things NFL offseason, while answering questions about how the layoff will affect the players.

In the second hour, Solomon Wilcots of CBS Sports and the NFL Network weighed in on some of the top QBs in the game and the upcoming Hall-of-Fame inductions.

After talking about Derek Jeter's 3000th hit, Grant broke into a rant about David Kahn's mismanagement of the Minnesota Timberwolves (inspired by the confirmation of Kurt Rambis' dismissal as T-Wolves' head coach).

Finishing things off, Green Bay Packers great Sterling Sharpe chimed in on a variety of topics in a great interview, covering his brother Shannon's Hall-of-Fame induction, the anxiety of the process in general, and (of course) the NFL Lockout.
