ELK GROVE, Calif. (CBS13) – Traffic is still backed up on Interstate 5 in Elk Grove after some newly laid concrete failed to dry overnight.

Construction crews put down new concrete on one lane of northbound Interstate 5 between Elk Grove Boulevard and Laguna Boulevard.  It was supposed to be dry by 5a.m. but failed to set in time.

The lane may be shut down for the entire day.
