Motorcyclist Killed On Capital City Freeway Overnight
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- All lanes of the Capital City Freeway are back open this morning near Fulton Avenue after being closed overnight due to a fatal motorcycle accident.
The CHP says the motorcyclist was driving the wrong way on the freeway when he slammed head-on into a car.
Emergency crews found the motorcyclist down in the middle of the freeway when they first arrived. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
All eastbound traffic had to be diverted onto Auburn Boulevard creating a major backup.
