Two Teenagers Killed In Nevada County Car Crash

GRASS VALLEY, Calif. (CBS13) – Two teenagers were killed in a car accident Monday night in Nevada County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened just after 11:00 pm on southbound Highway 49 at Tyler Foote Road.

The driver was speeding when he lost control on a curve and flew off the roadway and into a tree, the CHP said.

The names of the two 19-year-old victims have not been released.

    One minute your speeding down the road way having a good time and the next minute your dead… So young and such a sad way to lose your life… Driving the speed limit SAVES lives! RIP

    Parents need to strongly consider advanced driving training and techniques for their kids. My parents did this for me, and I know it has saved me a couple of times from accidents.
