Man's Body Found In Yolo County Canal
DAVIS (CBS13) – A man's body was found in an irrigation canal just outside the Davis city limits Monday afternoon, but the death is not considered suspicious, according to the Yolo County Sheriff's Department.
According to the sheriff's department, the man was a farm laborer and was dropped off at about 8 a.m. Monday morning. His body was found by passerby shortly before 3 p.m. in the canal near East Covell Boulevard and Alhambra Drive.
The man's identity wasn't immediately released. The Yolo County Coroner's Office will do an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
