1 Dead, 2 Hurt In Menlo Park Explosion
MENLO PARK (CBS) — An explosion and fire at a commercial research laboratory in Menlo Park late Friday afternoon left at least one person dead and two others injured, fire officials said.
Hazardous material crews were also on the scene of the two-alarm fire at the corporate headquarters and research facility of Membrane Technology at 1360 Willow Road.
There were reports of other workers possibly being trapped in the facility, but no further details were immediately available.
