Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson joins Grant in studio, to discuss the latest developments on the arena plans. Mayor Johnson talks about job growth and revenue a new arena will bring to the Sacramento economy, the parking situation and the mayor announces that he was married over the weekend.
Next, Grant gives his thoughts on the parking situation if a new downtown arena is built, then listeners call in with their thoughts and somewhat insane ideas for parking at events happening in the new sports and entertainment complex downtown.
After that, Grant does his rant of the day about the Notre Dame football coach losing his cool on national TV over the weekend. Then former Chiefs and Rams quarterback and current NFL analyst Trent Green joins the show to preview the Kansas City Chiefs training camp. Trent also talks about playing for two very passionate coaches in Dick Vermeil and Herm Edwards.
