VACAVILLE (CBS13) -- A domestic incident ended with a woman was shot dead in Vacaville in front of two of her children, according to a family member.

Sidney Wilson, 33, of Vacaville was arrested for homicide after police received a call of shots fired and responded to a home in the 200 block of Cambridge Drive at about 10:39 p.m.

Once at the home, police found a woman, identified Friday as 34-year-old Victoria Corral, dead in an attached garage of the residence.

All four of her children were in the house at the time and two witnessed the shooting, Corral's sister told CBS13's Derek Shore.

Officers surrounded the perimeter of the home and eventually were able to take Wilson into custody. He was booked into the Solano County Jail in Fairfield.

The children were taken into protective custody at the scene and later released to family members. Wilson is the father of two of the children, according to Corral's sister, and had a long-term relationship with Corral.

Family and friends are holding a candlelight vigil at Corral's house Friday night at 8 and are taking donations for her memorial service.
