Today on the Don Geronimo show, Don starts off by welcoming Reno and KBZZ to the madness, but he then turns his attention to the 10 year anniversary of 9/11. With yesterday being the 10th anniversary, Don took today to reflect back on the day that changed all of our lives forever. Don played for us tapes of the Don and Mike show when he, Mike, Buzz and the crew were broadcasting live from New York just hours after the attack. Don, Dave and Phantom talked about their memories of that day and where the country is today, and asked if we have already forgotten.
In between Dons tapes from the Don and Mike broadcast and the boys reflecting on 9/11, Don plays some tapes ranging from voicemails left from 9/11 victims to President Bush and President Obama to amazing montages of audio clips from that tragic day that will absolutely tug on your emotions. Don didn't completely stick to a whole 9/11 remembrance show, as we had the Phantom News Hour... of course. Phantom told us who might just be the next president and played us audio from Cyndi Lauper messing up the National Anthem at the women's US Open. All that and much more on a very powerful Don Geronimo show.
