MODESTO (CBS13) – Modesto Police are investigating the death of a transient whose body has been found in Dry Creek near La Loma Park.

The body of a man in his 40′s was found this morning around 10:00 a.m. in the water near El Vista Avenue and La Loma Park.

Police say they don’t know the cause of death or how long the body has been there.

Officers say the man is a known transient around the Modesto area.
