Audio: The Don Geronimo Show - September 16, 2011

Today, Don starts by announcing that he'll be giving away tickets to next week's Raider game to the first caller that can sing the Batman "Miranda" song in its entirety. He then plays a video of an old couple trying to figure out how to work a camcorder. Don also has the brand new 2011 Guiness Book of World Records. Some of the more unique records in the book are the "longest female tongue," "longest beard," and "largest afro." Don also reads us the top 3 signs your penis is aging.

After a discussion with Dave about what is in their DVR,and the new season of Dr. Phil, Don resets his "G. Gordon Liddy stories," which include a mechanical autograph machine, and Liddy's severe bladder problem. Don also tells us that if he was gay, he would prefer to be the "catcher," much to the confusion of all the guys.

Don then interviews CBS broadcaster Solomon Wilcotts, who will be calling the Oakland/Buffalo game this Sunday. Solomon gives his take on the Buffalo Bills' improvement, how much of a factor Brian Urlacher will be for the Chicago Bears this week, in light of his mother's passing, and how important social media is for the NFL these days. afterwards the guys go around the room and pick the NFL games for this week.

Don plays a few clips from news he hadn't gotten to earlier in the week, such as William Shatner saying Star Wars was just Star Trek with better effects, Dr. Oz saying there is arsenic in apple juice, and Pat Robertson telling a man to divorce his wife who has Alzheimer's. We also hear about a waitress at the club boxes in San Diego, who dropped $1k at last week's Charger game onto the level below, but every last dollar was returned to her by the fans. Don then decides to call a Green Bay sex shop, and Brett Favre's Steakhouse, just to see who the people who work there have picked to win the Packer?Panther game this week.

Next up is the "Phantom News Hour." Phantom tells us about Obama's jobs bill proposal, a death row inmate who was granted a stay, and the Emmy nominations that were released today. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
