Audio: The Don Geronimo Show - September 21, 2011

Don begins today by telling us about the Rainbow Chamber Gala last night that he and Roy hosted, then tells us we're going to play a new game today: "Fact or Crap." We also find out that the season premiere of 2 And A Half Men had 28 million viewers on Monday night. Dave then guarantees that the show will get half those numbers on next week's episode, but Don disagrees. As a result, Don and Dave make a bet on next week's 2 And A Half Men ratings, with the loser having to shave their mustache so it looks like Hitler's!
The guys also discuss whether or not KNCI's Tom of the Pat and Tom Show looks like Ellen, and Don tells us about the time he and Mike O'Meara got banned from broadcasting at Disneyland.

Because of the numerous texters wondering where Drew went, Don tells us that Drew took a job in San Francisco, and that he will be bringing in a new replacement, which leads the callers and texters to speculate on who it is. Don then plays a youtube video of a soldier who is coming out of the closet to his dad over the phone. After hearing Amy Schumer's Ryan Dunn joke from the Charlie Sheen Roast, Don resets his great "Silly String the Ceiling" story, much to the amusement of all the guys.

It is then time to play the new game, "Fact or Crap," with the listeners for tickets to the Raiders/Jets game this Sunday. In this game, Don reads from a stack of cards, and the contestant must determine if his statements are indeed fact, or just crap. The guys try to get as many as possible right in one minute, then the listeners try to beat the score.

Then our good buddy Roy stops by for another edition of "LaRoy's World of Gay." Today, Roy talks about the gala he and Don attended, and the "Clothing Optional" pool party he went to with his bf Corey.

Don then calls in Craig to call up random celebrities, to see if they'll go on the air with us. Today, Craig gets Wink Martindale, famous gameshow host. Don even gets Wink to say "Stand by for Phantom with the news!" Don then plays clips of Ron Artest getting booted from Dancing With The Stars, Tony Bennett telling Howard Stern that the U.S. is responsible for 9/11, and lost audio tapes of Elvis Presley.

Ron Burton from promotions stops in for a moment, and we find out what Ron's real name is. We then go into the "Phantom News Hour." Today, Phantom tells us about the 2 American hikers being released from Iran, tobacco companies protesting the graphic warning labels on cigarette packs, and Steve Martin offering up advice to Eddie Murphy on hosting the Oscars. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
