Audio: The Grant Napear Show - September 21, 2011

Grant's midweek show fell right in halfway between looking back and looking ahead between weeks two and three of NFL action.

FOX NFL Rules Analyst Mike Pereira checked in early on to address the expanding use of replay. Grant asks Mike to look ahead and give some insight as to how the NFL will use technology in the future. Pereira also talked about how officials can keep players from faking injuries to slow down no-huddle offenses.

In the second hour, former NFL scout and FOX Sports Radio personality Chris Landry hit on the topic of coaches on the hot seat in his weekly spot with Grant, pointing out the Jack Del Rio has not set himself up for success in Jacksonville. Landry also analyzed the Raiders and tells us how the 49ers can get Vernon Davis more involved in the passing game.

Grant's Rant offered some not-so-kind words for Deangelo Hall after his remarks stating that he intends to go after Tony Romo's injured ribs on Sunday.

Oakland's rookie standout receiver Denarius Moore joined the show to rave about Jason Campbell and Jacoby Ford as teammates, talk about how rookie hazing ties in directly with the team's fondness for Popeye's chicken, and look back at some of his favorite SEC gameday atmospheres from his days at Tennessee.

Closing out the third hour, CSN Bay Area 49ers Insider Matt Maiocco broke down this weekend's contest in Cincinnati, looked back to last weekend's loss against Dallas, and told us how the team can adjust its offensive gameplan to produce better results.
