Audio: The Grant Napear Show - September 28, 2011

Grant's midweek show contained a variety of guests and topics - Raider Nation is still buzzing from the victory over the Jets last Sunday and bursting with optimism for this weekend's game against New England.

AFC Player of the Week Darren McFadden caught up with the show in hour one, praising his offensive line for keeping the holes open wide. The league's leading rusher enjoys coach Hue Jackson's fire and said Jason Campbell has really found a comfortable spot in his second year with Oakland.

49ers' star tight end Vernon Davis followed up by calling in from Youngstown, Ohio, where the Niners completed today's walkthrough in a rain-soaked parking lot behind a movie theater. Davis discussed his relationship with Jim Harbaugh and what he looks for when watching film on opponents.

Grant offered some advice for Jose Reyes in his Rant - Reyes led the NL batting race by one point before laying down a bunt in the first inning of today's game and the promptly removing himself for a pinch runner to maintain his lead.

Wrapping up the five o'clock hour, Mike Lombardi of NFL Network and Inside the NFL on Showtime broke down the Raiders' early-season success and looked ahead to the 49ers/Eagles matchup. Lombardi also gave some thoughts on the rest of the week four slate of NFL action.
