Woman Found Severely Beaten In Modesto Park
MODESTO (CBS13) –- Modesto Police detectives are investigating after a severely beaten woman was found by children in a park Thursday morning.
The woman was found about 8 a.m. by children walking through Mellis Park on Martin Luther King Drive west of Highway 99 on their way to school.
She was taken to the hospital and is reported to be in critical but stable condition.
Modesto Police are searching the park for clues.
The woman's name isn't being released to protect her safety, but police say she is in her 40s.
