Audio: The Grant Napear Show - October 5, 2011

Day three of Jason Ross at the helm for a vacationing Grant centered around football with a little NBA Labor talk as filler from time to time.

Another guest-fest started off with Dennis Green, Head Coach of the Sacramento Mountain Lions, joining Jason Ross to preview his team's upcoming contest against the Virginia Destroyers. Green further explained how the league has changed since he first arrived in Sacramento.

In the four o'clock hour, football analyst Chris Landry caught up with Jason in his weekly segment to talk all things pigskin. Landry led off with the college game, forecasting which teams could stay undefeated all year. He finished by contrasting the Raiders and 49ers.

In hour three, Grant's Rant on the sadistic nature of life-long Chicago Cubs fans kicked off the midway point. Later, Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports gave his take on the NBA Labor meetings so far and how close he thinks the two sides are to reaching an agreement.

Closing out the show, a couple of impact players from the Raiders' and 49ers' week four games checked in with Jason. San Francisco's second-year linebacker NaVorro Bowman talked about filling the shoes of the departed Takeo Spikes and what he's learned from current and former teammates. Then, Samson Satele of the Raiders caught up with Jason Ross to give some insight on the Raiders' season through four weeks.
