It's "Battle Tuesday" on The Carmichael Dave Show! We started off the show by opening up the phone lines to discuss the recent trade by the Oakland Raiders to acquire Quarterback Carson Palmer from the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jason Jones from the Sacramento Bee came on to discuss the trade as well. He discussed who got the better end of the trade, Oakland or Cincinnati, also if he thinks Carson will be the starting QB this weekend. Dave and Jason talked about Palmer's stats, and what this means for Jason Campbell as well as Kyle Boller.
Brad Evans from Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football came on for our weekly edition of Fantasy Football talk. The phone lines and text lines were flooded by your sit/start questions as well as possible trades.
We had breaking MMA news announced during the show regarding UFC 137 which takes place on October 29thth. Headliner and UFC Welterweight Champion George St. Pierre has been taken off the card due to injury and the main event has been changed to BJ Penn vs Nick Diaz. Steve Cofield from Yahoo sports and Cagewriter.com came on and discussed the late breaking news and discussed the fight card new line up as well as the injury to St. Pierre.
