Today, Don begins by telling us that our good buddy Steve Bryant is cancer free! He managed to beat the cancer without radiation, so his vocal cords were spared, and he’ll be back to making hilarious parody songs in no time! Don also talks about how a year ago this weekend was when Don had his fall off the stage at Cal Expo. Don tells us how happy is to be alive, and how grateful he is to all the people who helped him during his recovery. After a clip of Harrison Ford playing the new video game “Uncharted: Drake’s Deception,” Don pulls out a list from consumerist.com of the worst TV commercials of the past year. Don then prank calls KNCI and NOW 100 with a tape Little Joe got from a show prep website, and the John Wayne Soundboard.
We also get another visit from Dennis Hof, owner of the Moonlite Bunny Ranch, who is putting together the big celebrity boxing match that Don and the guys are doing a remote at in two weeks. Dennis talks about the card for Nov. 5th, which has Michael Lohan vs. Kato Kaelin, Amy Fisher vs. the Octomom, and the brand new match: Jose Canseco vs. White House crasher Taleq Salahi! It’s then time to make the weekly phone call to Green Bay. First up is the Lion’s Den adult store, and the owner of the place is his usual charming self. Don then calls Brett Favre’s Steakhouse, and our friend Kathryn answers again! The guys ask her how things are going, and find out she’s married, which disappoints the fellas.
After playing a clip of Matthew Perry’s short lived Second Chance TV show that predicted Ghadafi’s death, Don calls back Brett Favre’s Steakhouse to get Kathryn to cut an intro for the “Phantom News Hour.” We then hear the video Dave tweeted of a hippo taking a loud massive dump that sounds like a weed-whacker! Our good buddy and favorite gay LaRoy stops by as well, and the guys go through his hilarious Facebook posts, the gay bars he’s been to lately, who his closest female friends are, and what is a “fag hag?”
Next up is Dan Fouts, ex NFL quarterback and Color Analyst for The NFL on CBS. Dan talks about Al Davis’ contribution to the NFL, Carson Palmer playing in Oakland, what he thinks of Tim Tebow, and the QB situation in Washington. The guys then pick the NFL games, and Craig is still in 1st place on the season, with a 5 game lead over Little Joe. Then it’s time for the “Phantom News Hour.” Among the news stories today: Celebrity tweets about Ghadafi’s death, Harold Camping saying that TODAY is the rapture, President Obama calling for a full pull out of Iraq by the end of 2011, and new movies that come out today. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
