Police Investigating Fatal Shooting In North Sacramento

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police are investigating a deadly overnight shooting in North Sacramento.

Police got a call for “shots fired” around 10:30 Sunday night on Traction Avenue near El Camino Avenue.

When they arrived, officers found a 25-year-old man with a gunshot to his upper body.

He later died at the hospital.

Witnesses say they saw a man in dark clothes running from the scene, but couldn’t give a better description.

Officers are still searching for a suspect and a motive.
