Search Called Off For Suspected Car Thieves

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Deputies have given up the search for two suspects accused of stealing a car overnight.

Deputies pulled over the unreported stolen car around 50th Avenue and 47th Street early this morning.

When the officers approached the car, two men inside hopped out of the car and started running toward an apartment complex.

Deputies set up a perimeter and searched for several hours but weren't able to track them down.

Deputies say the car had been taken from the Rosemont area.
