Four People Detained After Morning Standoff In Antelope

SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies and SWAT crews have detained four people who surrendered peacefully after an early morning standoff at a home in Antelope, according to authorities.

Officers surrounded the home in the 3800 block of Hunters Glen Place in Antelope this morning after a suspect vehicle from an earlier shooting was found outside the home.

When deputies approached the home, a woman came out and confirmed that two people deputies were trying to contact were inside the home but refusing to come out.

Deputies and SWAT members surrounded the home and set up a nearby command post.

After more than an hour, two men and two women came out of the home and surrendered. The four have been detained but no arrests have been made. Deputies say it's still unclear if any of them are connected to the earlier shooting.

That shooting happened nearby around midnight. Little else has been released other than it was not a fatal shooting.
