Woman's Body Found In Foothill Farms Apartment Complex
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Sacramento County Sheriff's homicide detectives have been called out to investigate after a woman's body was found in an apartment complex on Wednesday morning.
A woman in her 20s was found at the Emerald Oaks Apartments at 5109 Andrea Blvd, off Elkhorn in the Foothill Farms area.
CBS13's Koula Gianulias reports that the woman's mother and her mother's boyfriend were worried about her because they hadn't heard from her for a couple days, which they say was unusual. They came to check on her, found the door to her apartment unlocked, and found her dead.
There were obvious signs of trauma to upper body, according to the sheriff's department.
