Naked Suspect Surprises Customers In Oak Park Restaurant

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- Police arrested a man who allegedly ran naked into a Subway sandwich shop and assaulted someone standing in line.

The Sacramento Police Department said 26-year-old Aaron Aceves stripped naked and ran into the restaurant near 43rd Street and Broadway late at night Wednesday and took a swipe at one of the customers waiting in line.

Surveillance video showed Aceves only spent a few seconds inside the restaurant, calmly walking out and leaving startled customers and employees behind.

Aceves allegedly fled across the street to a supermarket, where police had to use pepper spray to subdue him. The suspect was taken to the hospital for evaluation and then booked into jail on two misdemeanor charges -- indecent exposure and resisting arrest.

He is being held on $20,000 bail. Aceves' next court date is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
