SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The F.B.I. is looking for a bank robber who grabbed some money and ran from a Sacramento bank this morning.

The suspect walked into the Bank of the West at 2569 Fair Oaks Boulevard around 9:18 this morning. The F.B.I. is calling him an 'opportunist' because he walked up to a teller who was counting a wad of cash, grabbed it, and ran.

He told the teller "This is a robbery. If you move or do anything I will shoot you." However, no bank employees or witnesses saw a weapon.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 50's, about 5'6" tall, weighing about 220 pounds with a gray goatee. He was wearing a dark sweater over a collared shirt, blue jeans, light colored shoes, a blue baseball cap and dark sunglasses. He was also carrying a manila envelope.

Anyone who may know the identity of this man is asked to call the contact the FBI in Sacramento at (916) 481-9110, the Sacramento Sheriff's Department at (916) 874-5115, or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
