Couple Recovering After Being Attacked By Naked Bodybuilder

COLTON, Calif. (AP) — A Southern California man and his wife have been released from a hospital, three days after they were beaten at their home by a naked, 300-pound bodybuilder.

Twenty-two-year-old Ruben Arzu is in police custody at a hospital, awaiting booking on suspicion of attempted homicide. His condition was unavailable Tuesday.

Colton Police Officer Todd Smith says it took four officers, two stun gun blasts and four sets of handcuffs to restrain Arzu during the Saturday night rampage.

Smith says the couple was attacked when they came home from a party and found Arzu naked on their front porch. The 35-year-old husband suffered head trauma and his wife had facial injuries and multiple cuts to her head. Their names were not released.

Smith says the couple did not know their attacker.
