DeMarcus Cousins Says He’s Trying To Prove He’s ‘An Elite Big Man’

DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Kings joins the show to talk Kings basketball. “I knew what to expect this year. I’m happy to come in and help the rookies out,” Cousins said when asked how things are different for him this year coming off his rookie year.

When asked what he changed, Cousins replied, “To be a leader at all times, and being consistent.” He went on to say “I’m trying to prove to everybody in the league that I’m an elite big man in the league.” Cousins expands on the thought of having one year under his belt saying, “I am going to be a lot more focused, and cut down on arguing with the refs.”

It is clear that Cousins seems ready for the year and excited to see where the Kings will go.
