Suspects Steal Christmas Gifts In Stockton Home Invasion

STOCKTON (CBS13) — Two armed men invaded a home in Stockton on Sunday night, stealing cash and Christmas gifts and using a 3-year-old boy so that they could carry out the robbery, according to police.

The incident in the 2900 block of Estrella Avenue took place at about 7:45. The suspects rushed into the home as the 3-year-old and a teenage boy were going inside, according to police. Once inside, the suspects reportedly forced everyone into the front room and demanded valuables.

Then they held onto the 3-year-old as they made several trips outside with the stolen property. The suspects left the 3-year-old once they fled.

"That's really scary to think something like that would happen in our neighborhood," said neighbor Denise Venezuela.

The suspects are described as 19 to 22 years old, Hispanic males, one heavy and one thin, both wearing black hooded sweatshirts with a photo of an unknown person and "RIP" stenciling on them. They possibly left in a dark gray 1980s Ford Mustang 5.0 that was seen driving slowly in the area prior to the robbery.
